This device is to be installed on the rear part of a bag making machine right after the unwinder, it is provided with a cut-and-weld unit to obtain two tubular tracks out of the tubular film reel.

The heat-adjustable cut-and-weld unit is provided with candle resistance and thermo-couple; every time the machine is stopped, a pneumatic actuator will lift it from the film.

This accessory allows the two-side gussetting of the two tubular tracks.

This solution avoids all the problems that may occur by printing on previously gussetted film.

The device is equipped with: rubber-coated calanders for upper and lower draft that has a pneumatic drive for opening and closing; roller conveyors and wooden gussetting triangles easily adjusted by knobs; alluminium idle rollers for film passage; nonius for reading gussets measure; inflating gun.
